Goals, Objectives, and Outcomes
We wish to support adult men returning from incarceration in Philadelphia to achieve stable housing, income, and community connections, reducing their risk of homelessness and reincarceration.
Our Goals
- Assist individuals returning from incarceration who are struggling with opioid addiction by connecting them to counseling, treatment, and recovery support.
- Provide spiritual support to justice-involved individuals and their families as they navigate reentry and healing.
- Offer a variety of counseling methods tailored to the unique needs of people impacted by incarceration, including individual, family, and group sessions.
- Foster strong community engagement through outreach and collaboration to reduce stigma and create welcoming reentry environments.
- Provide comprehensive referral services to anyone in the community, with a focus on connecting returning citizens to housing, employment, education, and behavioral health resources.
- Offer transitional housing for individuals returning home from incarceration, providing structure, accountability, and essential resources for a stable reentry.
- Provide dedicated support to veterans impacted by incarceration to help them successfully transition back into their communities.
- Provide bilingual resources on mental health and reentry services to reduce language barriers for justice-involved individuals and their families.

Our Objectives
- Serve at least 12–18 men per year in the six-bed transitional house.
- Ensure at least 75% of men who complete the program exit to safe, stable housing (permanent housing, family reunification, or a longer-term program).
- Ensure at least 70% of participants obtain employment, job training, or public benefits that increase their income by program exit.
- Our staff and volunteers will bring both professional expertise and lived experience, allowing us to build trust and provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed support.
- We plan to work with adults self-identifying as men (18 or older) who are returning from jail or prison to Philadelphia.
- We will prioritize men at high risk of homelessness due to justice involvement, substance use, or housing instability.
